Abstract Expressionist Paintings

Although most of my collage paintings contain too much specific imagery to qualify as abstract expressionist works, there are nevertheless certain pieces in every one of my series that veer into ab-ex territory. When I work quickly and intuitively, images and symbols often devolve into gestures and patterns. The resulting art works represent one end of a spectrum of styles and techniques.
